Petronius, founded in 1926, is a family owned maker of fine Italian ties. Through three generations the Wollisch family have channelled their passion for hand-made ties into producing some of the finest ‘cravatte’ in the world. In 1926, Luigi Wollisch established his first workshop in the Via Rugabella in Milan, naming his company after the Roman procunsul Petronio, who was known throughout the empire as an arbiter of taste. Today the family still uphold the scrupulous standards that have made Petronius a byword for quality among the style cognoscenti and a favourite of such icons as Lino Ieluzzi. As well as producing remarkable ties, Petronius produce a stunning and ever-changing range of pocket squares. With their vivid colours and bold designs, these pocket squares bring even the most reserved outfit to life.
